Market Day is an iOS economic calendar for information: five tabs—Calendar, IPO, Ex-rights, Market holidays, and Settings. Track global data releases (NFP, CPI, GDP, rate decisions), IPOs, corporate actions and holidays. It is a schedule and reminder tool—not trading signals or investment advice.
Why an economic calendar (information view)
Rate decisions, inflation and jobs prints are widely watched. An economic calendar helps you note release times and event types, while also tracking IPOs, ex-rights and exchange holidays. Use it for planning and lookup—not order instructions.
Market Day is an information tool: browse → remind → optional analysis → IPO/ex-rights/holidays. No buy/sell calls or return promises.
Event types: releases · IPO · dividends · holidays
Different tabs serve different information needs. Treat the table as a learning frame; in-app items are authoritative.
| Type | Note |
|---|---|
| GDP / CPI / NFP and macros | Day view with time, actual/forecast/previous and importance cues. |
| Rate decisions / central banks | Policy release windows; optional analysis is informational. |
| IPO calendar | Listing-related schedule info—not a subscription or trading desk. |
| Ex-rights / corporate actions | Dividend and corporate-action schedule lookup. |
| Market holidays | Exchange holiday schedules to avoid empty sessions. |
Economic calendar vs trading signals
Search results often mix calendars with signals. Here is the boundary.
| Item | Boundary |
|---|---|
| Economic calendar / reminders | Tells you when an event is due so you can look—does not say buy or sell. |
| Trade signals / copy trading | Not provided. |
| Modular analysis | Optional background notes—not personalized advice. |
| IPO / ex-rights / holiday lists | Information only—not order entry. |
How to subscribe & filter calendar events
UI may vary by version. Educational setup steps—not trading instructions.

- Filter by country/importance to focus on releases you care about.
- Switch to IPO, Ex-rights and Holidays tabs for listing, corporate-action and holiday schedules.
